Dalian GeoMax Synthetics Co., Ltd.

High Strength, Extreme High Temperature Resistance, Anti-Aging, Acid & Alkali Resistant

CALIFORNIA, CA, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dalian GeoMax Synthetics Co., Ltd., a geotextile manufacturer based in Dalian, operates three needle-punched nonwoven production lines and a CNAS-accredited testing laboratory. The company supplies its G-Tex® GE geotextile range to more than 30 countries and reports that export sales account for 95 percent of total business, according to company information.

This technical profile covers the production process, line configuration, product specifications, quality systems and application data behind the G-Tex® GE nonwoven geotextile series.

Industry Context

The global geotextile market was valued at USD 7.10 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 11.82 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 6.6 percent, according to Grand View Research. Nonwoven geotextiles accounted for the largest product segment, with approximately 65.5 percent of total revenue in 2022. The same research firm reported that China accounted for 23.3 percent of global geotextile market revenue in 2024, and that China's geotextile market generated USD 1.85 billion in 2024, with an expected CAGR of 10.1 percent through 2030.

Company and Production Base

Dalian GeoMax Synthetics Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 and traces its origins to 2006. The company is located in Dalian, a port city in Northeast China, and operates from a manufacturing facility of 12,000 square meters. It employs approximately 45 staff and has a 12-engineer engineering and R&D team, according to company materials.

The company's main products include geotextile, wicking geotextile, anti-UV geotextile, orange geotextile, PP nonwoven geotextile, logo inkjet coding geotextile, conductive geotextile and geotextile fabrics. It also supplies geosynthetic products such as drainage geonet, drainage geocomposites, geocell, geomembrane liners and HDPE geomembrane. These products are applied mainly in transportation, water conservancy, municipal works and environmental engineering.

Core Technology: Polyester Filament Needle-Punched Nonwoven Process

The G-Tex® GE filament geotextile line uses a polyester continuous filament needle-punched nonwoven process. The process starts with polyester chips, which are melted and extruded into continuous filaments. The filaments are formed into a web, then mechanically bonded by needle punching and wound into rolls.

Needle punching is a mechanical bonding method in which barbed needles repeatedly penetrate the fiber web, entangling the fibers and increasing fabric density without the use of chemical binders. The resulting fabric has a three-dimensional pore structure commonly used for filtration, separation, drainage, stress dispersion and protection in civil engineering.

The company also operates short-fiber needle-punched lines. Short-fiber lines use cut staple fibers that are opened and formed into a web before needle punching. The long-fiber continuous filament line produces fabric from continuous filaments in a single, uninterrupted process. Continuous filament geotextiles are generally associated with higher strength and more consistent mechanical properties for applications that require high load and filtration performance.

Production Lines and Capacity

Dalian GeoMax currently operates three production lines, according to company information:

Two short-fiber needle-punched geotextile production lines
One long-fiber continuous filament needle-punched geotextile production line
The combined annual production capacity is 9,500,000 square meters.

The company reports more than 80 patents related to geotextile and geosynthetic material processes and equipment, and it is classified as a national high-tech enterprise in China. Its R&D unit includes 12 engineers.

G-Tex® GE Product Range and Mechanical Specifications

G-Tex® GE is the geotextile product line of Dalian GeoMax Synthetics. Standard model families in the range include GLS-V, GE, GLP, PET and PP. The GLS and GLP series are the standard product families used for nonwoven geotextile selection; materials are PET or PP depending on the application.

For the GLS and GLP series, and the wider G-Tex® GE nonwoven range, the mechanical property ranges reported in product data are:

Wide-width tensile strength: 7.0 to 95 kN/m
Grab strength: 500 N to 7,500 N
Trapezoidal tear strength: 200 N to 2,500 N
CBR burst strength: 1,300 N to 12,500 N
Roll widths and roll lengths are configured to project specifications. The company supplies customized products according to customer requirements, including specific geological conditions and regional standards.

Standards, Certification and Testing

The company states that the performance indicators of its geotextiles exceed the Chinese GB/T national standard and can meet the standard requirements of Australia and the United States. Products are manufactured to meet requirements of many national standards, including the German DIN standard, the international ISO standard, EN ISO, the American ASTM standard, the Australian AS standard and the Chinese GB/T national standard. Customized products can be supplied according to ASTM, AS and GB/T.

For road applications in Europe, EN 13249:2016 is the harmonized standard for geotextiles used in roads and trafficked areas. For UV resistance, ASTM D4355 is the core industry standard for testing the UV deterioration of geotextiles via Xenon-Arc exposure.

Dalian GeoMax holds ISO 9001 quality management system certification, ISO 14001 environmental management system certification and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system certification. The company is a member of the International Geosynthetics Association and the China Geosynthetics Engineering Association.

CNAS-Accredited Laboratory

In 2012, Dalian GeoMax established Dalian IEC Testing Service Co., Ltd. In April 2016, Dalian I.E.C received CNAS laboratory accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. The laboratory tests and evaluates the performance of geotextiles and geosynthetics on a scientific and impartial basis, and provides engineering and technical consulting services.

According to company materials, test reports issued within the accredited scope can use the CNAS mark and the ILAC and APLAC international mutual recognition marks. These reports are mutually recognized by more than 70 developed countries.

Applications

Application data supplied by the company covers three main engineering sectors: road engineering, hydraulic engineering and environmental protection engineering.

Road construction: G-Tex® GE geotextiles are used with bulldozers, excavators and cranes to provide stress dispersion. Application records cite Australia.
Hydraulic engineering: products are used in river embankment reinforcement projects, operating under static, long-term conditions. Application records cite Australia.

Environmental protection engineering: landfill lining projects use the geotextile for filtration and as a gasket under outdoor exposure and soil-water contact, with high UV resistance and low elongation required. Application records cite the United States.
Company materials also cite use in municipal projects such as parking lot construction, expressways, railways and water conservancy projects.

Market Impact and Export Position

Dalian GeoMax reports exports to more than 30 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, the United States, Ireland, Singapore, South Africa, Sudan, Qatar, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Chile, Ecuador, Nepal, Portugal, Mongolia, Germany, Fiji, the Dominican Republic and Lebanon. Export business accounts for 95 percent of total sales, with major markets in Asia, Europe, South America, North America, Oceania and Africa.

Within the Chinese geotextile industry, the company's export-oriented model is supported by a dedicated production and testing structure. The combination of two short-fiber lines, one continuous filament line and a CNAS-accredited laboratory provides a defined reference for evaluating nonwoven geotextiles.

Outlook

According to company materials, Dalian GeoMax is working toward a dual-track marketing model covering domestic and international markets within three years. The company also describes its business model as an integrated route of production, sales and research, combining commercial supply with testing and R&D through Dalian I.E.C.
